Welcome to The Framemakers!
We're Central Maine's premier picture framing shop.
Quality is what you want for your cherished keepsakes and what you can expect from the Framemakers. Our vast frame and mat combinations offer preservation with a flair of beauty. Posters, photographs, paintings, diplomas, child's drawings, sports jerseys, and shadowbox items are our specialties. Stop by and watch us work our magic! We can accommodate you for your personal taste, budget, and time, sometimes in as little as 24 hours depending on materials in stock. Also check our our selection of ready-made frames.
Our Art Gallery
Are you an artist who would like to display your work? Gallery space is available for two-month rotations inside our store and storefront windows with vast Main Street exposure. Come share what makes this community great: fine art by local artists. Visit our Gallery Page for info and upcoming events!
Also follow us on our Facebook Page.
From now until December 23rd, we are open extended hours on Fridays till 8pm, and on Sundays from noon till 4pm! On Christmas Eve, we will be open till 2pm, or when the last order is picked up. Have our talented experts design a personal keepsake for a gift that will be cherished for a lifetime!
More than just frames!
Currently our gallery is loaded with holiday gift ideas including mittens, handbags, stuffed animals, ornaments, and earrings, all handmade. These make delightful stocking stuffers!
Come to Downtown Waterville and admire local art inside our store as well as our partner locations: The Last Unicorn Restaurant, Selah Tea, and Enchanted Herbs & Teas. These are great opportunities for artists too.
Anytime is a great time to frame photos!
Got that special moment that's too precious to hide away in an album? We have many preservation options available from ready-made frames to budget items to custom plaque projects!
